US Open 2026 leaderboard: Final golf scores from Shinnecock Hills in New York as Wyndham Clark enjoyed major success

Final scores from the 126th US Open, the third men's major of the year, held at Shinnecock Hills in Southampton, New York.

Wyndham Clark survived a final-round scare to win his second US Open title in four years with a one-shot win, having narrowly avoided blowing the biggest 54-hole lead in the tournament's history.

Clark dominated the first three days to take a six-shot lead into Sunday, where a three-over 73 was enough to end the week on four under, one ahead of Sam Burns, and claim the $4.5m first prize.

Tom Kim claimed third spot while Scottie Scheffler, chasing a fifth major title in as many seasons and the career Grand Slam, ended his 30th birthday four strokes off the pace in tied-fourth.

Rory McIlroy posted back-to-back runner-up finishes at this event in 2023 and 2024 but ended the week tied-32nd, 15 years on from claiming his maiden major title in the 2011 US Open.

Tommy Fleetwood finished runner-up to Brooks Koepka the last time the US Open was held at this venue in 2018 but ended tied-11th, with two-time US Open winner Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm and defending champion JJ Spaun among those to miss the cut.

The US Open was the third of four men's majors, with McIlroy winning The Masters in April before Aaron Rai claimed the PGA Championship last month. The Open at Royal Birkdale in England (July 16-19) then completes the major season.
